Expression launch their new website
After many weeks of hard work, Expression have finally launched the fresh new look website. We have tried to make the experience of viewing our tiles more relaxing to the eye. We will also feature sponsors who can reduce your monthly expenditure by giving you better deals on home insurance, energy supplies, telephone, broadband and even credit cards. Candy launch a new range of Porcelain tiles:
Porcelain tiles are a specified form of ceramic tiles, but composed of much finer and denser clay and fired at much higher temperatures, if compared. Porcelain tiles are made by clay with a water absorption rating of less than 0.5%, while ceramic tiles have a clay composition with water absorption of more than 0.5%.
This composition makes porcelain tiles denser, much stronger and less prone to moisture absorption and staining. For those reasons porcelain can be suitable for locations with extreme moisture and in freeze or thaw conditions. Not all ceramic tiles can be installed at locations with freezing weather, due to the likelihood of moisture freezing inside the tiles. Internal freezing causes the moisture to expand as it freezes, which often manifests as cracks in the tile.
Porcelain tiles are less porous and therefore less prone to cracking and more scratch resistant than ceramic tiles.

Expression are now selling tile grout and adhesive online so you can get it shipped with your tiles. We only use quality grout and adhesive to guarantee a permanent fix for your tiles. Using lower quality grout and adhesive can cause problems in the future...
Tile Viewer added - click on a tile to show you how the tile looks on the wall or on the floor. 16 tiles are set together to give you an indication of how it would look. Please note that a lot of tiles have a random pattern and can be turned around to mix the pattern up for various effects. The Tile Viewer will simply place the tile side by side in the same format.
You can also change the colour of your grout in the Tile Viewer to see which grout colour looks best with your tile.
